Update on the puppies

It has been awhile since I have posted new pictures. Sorry about that. Don't think we haven't taken their photos-we have. I just haven't taken the time away from playing with them to put the photos on here. So here they are:

This is Pablo. He wears blue. His is our most shy puppy.

Taffy is beautiful. If we were keeping a yellow, she'd be my pick. She always comes over to us to get picked up and loves to give kisses.(eeeewww) Update: Taffy is going to live with Pink Lady from last year's litter.

Trixie is struggling to keep up in size with everyone else. We have started calling her peanut. She is the first runt we have ever had and she is the sweetest puppy. She is a little Houdini. She is so smart that she finds a way to get out of the fence where we keep the puppies outdoors and she can climb to get over the gate indoors.

Magnum (who used to be Mint Chocolate Chip) is so cute...everybody wants him. He is very friendly, too. I caught him barking at me as if to say, "Oh, Hi...You're out here, too?"

Ace has a cute little bark. He gets ambushed by Bandit regularly when he barks at Emily. Update: He loved snuggling with his new owners when they came to pick him out.

Tootsie knows she is staying here already. She thinks everything should go her way and I have even seen her take on three puppies at once. She is the boss.

Vic likes to bark with Tootsie. I think they have contests to see who can get our attention first.

Lilac reminds me so much of Paige. She has that adorable smile and she loves to snuggle. She will follow you anywhere.

This is Butterball. He is a very relaxed puppy.

Twizzler has a new name.....Trigger. His family came a couple of days ago to cuddle. He is going to be great at hunting.

This is Bandit. He likes sticks, knobs, handles, paper towel rolls, and as you can see...leaves.

This is Cinnamon Toast Crunch. He is relaxed in just about any position.

And finally, this is Banana Split. He has a great go-get 'em attitude.

Meet the Puppies

  • Pablo was born first and weighed 14.5 ounces. Now he weighs 51.4 ounces. He wears a light blue collar. He was named by my best friend and her almost 2-year old for a Backyardigans character.

Taffy is next. She weighed 15 ounces at birth and now weighs 46.7 ounces. She wears a dark pink collar. Sometimes we call her Laffy Taffy for the candy.

Trixie is third. She weighed 12.9 ounces at birth and now weighs 44.7 ounces. She wears a teal collar. She was named for Trix cereal but we also like the old Trixie Belden book series so we call her Ttixie.

This is our first chocolate puppy ever. He weighed 17.1 ounces at birth, our biggest puppy. Now he weighs 49.3 ounces. He wears a mint green collar so we named him Mint Chocolate Chip after the ice cream.

*Update* Mint chocolate chip now has a forever family and he will be called Magnum.

Our fifth puppy is Ace. He is black. He weighed 16.6 ounces when he was born and now he weighs 49.7 ounces. He wears a silver collar and was named by another of my friend's boys.

Tootsie is our sixth puppy born this litter. She weighed 12.9 ounces at birth and now weighs 45.6 ounces. She wears a light pink collar and my son is keeping her forever. He has named her Tootsie Roll but today says her name is Tootsie Pop. He has a while still to make up his mind. We'll call her Tootsie either way.

Vic is puppy number seven. He weighed 13.3 ounces when he was born and now weighs 45.3 ounces. He wears a black collar and was named for a character on The Sheild, which my husband and I watched.

Lilac is next. She was our smallest puppy born at 12.7 ounces. Now she weighs 49 ounces. She was named for the color of her collar.

Our ninth puppy weighed 14 ounces at birth and now weighs 50.9 ounces. He was named buttercup for his yellow collar, but he has eaten so much that we now call him Butterball.

Twizzler is puppy number ten. He weighed 14.2 ounces at birth and now weighs 50.3 ounces. He wears a red collar and was named by my best friend, keeping to the candy theme we started with.

Bandit, another black puppy, was born at 15.7 ounces and no weighs 52.1 ounces. He wears a gold collar and was named by another of my friend's boys because he says he is after the gold.

Our 12th puppy was born at 14.7 ounces and now weighs 53.4 ounces. He wears a green collar and the children named him Cinnamon Toast Crunch after their favorite breakfast cereal.

Our last puppy is Banana Split. He weighed 14 ounces at birth and now weighs 47.4 ounces. He was named by yet another of my best friend's boys.
